Our small town assembled in the high school gym to honor the Class of 2024. Among our cherished community events, this celebration stands out as a testament to the achievements and triumphs of our youth.
Last Sunday, just before the presentation of the Jack Glamann Scholarship, Wellington High School alumni Chris Glamann visited the community to share a few stories about his famous Aunt Betty. Betty Glamann, an acclaimed American jazz and classical harpist, was born in Wellington on May 21st, 1923.

The City Council meeting opened with a Call to Order and pledge of allegiance. Reverend Bob Nusser of First Baptist Church led the invocation. Roll call was taken with prior notice given by Jim Valentine and Cindy Antonich to be absent.
Historical Fiction is a very popular literary genre at the Wellington Public Library. For a novel to be considered Historical Fiction, the plot must be set in the past and capture details of the period as accurately as possible.
