For the first time in the history of the program, the Wellington Lady Crusaders basketball team headed to the Kansas State Basketball Championship winning their semi-final game in an overtime thriller against McPherson in Salina.

CherryRoad Media, owner of the Wellington Daily News as well as over 80 other American newspapers, recently acquired a Hutchison, KS based printing operation in an effort to better serve area subscribers - and it’s making a real difference! This facility now prints CherryRoad’s Kansas publications as well as numerous other newspapers in the area.

Martin is a handsome 2-3 year old Labrador mix that weighs 47 pounds. He was fostered for a few months so we know a lot about him! He is very loving and would enjoy someone who can give him lots of attention. He has lived with cats and other dogs and does well with proper introductions. He is very aectionate and loyal!
