Toph was rescued with her siblings as a small puppy. Sadly, she had contracted the parvovirus and was very sick. But, she is one tough puppy and fought hard to get better! Now, she’s about 9 months old, weighs 35 pounds and is a vibrant little girl with lots of love to give! Stop in this week to meet Toph! The WHS Cheer Team recently hosted a two-day “Little Dukes Cheer Clinic” for young athletes at Lincoln Elementary and Wellington Middle School. The clinic, attended by over 40 youngsters ranging from ages 3 to 5th grade, featured instruction in jumps, cheers, stunts, and a dance routine.
The City of Wellington and the owners of the Rock & Brews Casino in Braman, OK, have finalized a deal to bring top musical talent to Memorial Auditorium. Rock & Brews management team members attended a special meeting of the Memorial Auditorium Board to celebrate the alliance.
