Pet of the Week

Doodle and his siblings were rescued from the local pound. He is a 5-month-old labrador mix, playful, very sweet. He can’t wait to find a family to love him forever! The last of his siblings to get adopted, he wanted us to tell you that we have saved the best for last! Doodle is fully vetted, fixed, up to date on his vaccinations, and microchipped.

The Show Goes On

About midway through Spanky Entertainment’s Dueling Pianos show in Memorial Auditorium last Friday, Spanky shared that the last 24 hours had been rough. While traveling to Wellington, the duo spent the night in Kansas City and nearly all of their equipment had been stolen.

Flying Across Kansas

The Fly Kansas Air Tour came through Wellington about noon last Friday and the pilots were greeted by local 4th grade elementary students. The windy weather may have adversely impacted the total number of aircraft that flew in that afternoon, but 18 airplanes traveled from Great Bend to Wellington before continuing on to Hutchison and Salina.
