Historic Caldwell Comes To Life

The Sumner County Historical & Genealogical Society’s next event is a fascinating program based on the book “These Old Bones: Main Street - Historic Caldwell”, written by Michelle Schiltz and LuAnn Jamison. The program is free and open to the public next Monday, October 16th, 6:30pm at Memorial Auditorium.

Doodle and his siblings were rescued from the local pound. He is a 5-month-old labrador mix, playful, very sweet. He can’t wait to find a family to love him forever! The last of his siblings to get adopted, he wanted us to tell you that we have saved the best for last! Doodle is fully vetted, fixed, up to date on his vaccinations, and microchipped.

It’s Fall Y’All

This year’s Fall Festival was packed with activities for everyone. A coloring contest, yard games, mummy races and train rides kept kids entertained while the grow-ups shopped the craft show and visited chili cook-off booths.

Upcoming Wellington Candidate Forum

The Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce has organized a local Candidate Forum to introduce Wellington Mayoral, City Council and Cowley College Board candidates to the community.
