Karlin DeBuhr

WELLINGTON - Karlin DeBuhr, of Wellington, Kansas, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Botkin Health and Rehab in Wellington, Kansas at the age of 85. He was born the son of Nina (Cottle) and Arlyss DeBuhr on May 11, 1936 in South Haven, Kansas. On August 19, 1955, Karlin and Peggy (Kern) DeBuhr were united in marriage in Wellington, Kansas. Together they celebrated 57 years of marriage before her passing in 2012. Following high school, Karlin attended auctioneer school and began a longtime career in the industry. Together, he and Peggy owned and operated Wheatland Realty where he was a realtor, auctioneer and assisted with insurance. Outside of the business, Karlin and his family continued operating the family farm for many years.

Jessie Wayne Bohler

EUFAULA - Jessie Wayne Bohler, 76, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, December 4, 2021, at his home. Jessie was born on December 19, 1944, in Laverne, Oklahoma, the son of Herman Werner and Meda Ellen Kinney Bohler. He graduated from Laverne High School in 1963. On February 4, 1966, Jessie enlisted in the United States Navy and served in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged on November 19, 1969. On September 16, 1967, Jessie married Nancy Lynn Maxwell in Wellington, Kansas. They were happily married fifty-four years. In 1974, Jessie graduated from OSU Tech in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Eufaula First Church of God.

Nancy Louis Coulter

BROKEN ARROW, OK - Nancy Louis (Ross) Coulter, age 82, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away October 22, 2021, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. She was born in Sterling, Kansas to Thomas Willis Ross and Alberta Mae (McClure) Ross on May 28, 1939. Moving to Wellington, Kansas in the second grade, she graduated from Wellington High School. Nancy attended and graduated from Kansas State University with a BS in Elementary Education. She was a part of the Delta Delta Delta sorority, where she made many friends for life. In her sophomore year she was the State of Kansas representative for the Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C. Later that spring she met her future husband. After marrying Roger on August 13, 1961 at the First United Methodist Church in Wellington, Kansas, she taught in Manhattan, Kansas for a year before moving to Tulsa, OK, where she taught for two years in West Tulsa. After the birth of her two children, Deborah in 1966, and David in 1970, she returned to be a substitute for Fulton elementary, then became secretary for schools for the rest of her career. After her and her husband’s retirement, they moved to Grand Lake of the Cherokees where she was involved in the gardening club. She enjoyed boating and fishing on the lake and taking care of the wildlife that resided around their home. After a while they decided to move back to Broken Arrow, Oklahoma where she spent the rest of her life surrounded by loved ones and friends until her passing.
