The Wellington girls golfers competed in their biggest tournament so far this season. The Lady Dukes took part in a 20team invitational hosted by Hutchinson.
Friday night, the Wellington football team led wireto- wire with a 43-6 win over Labette County. The defense flexed their muscle, holding the Grizzlies scoreless until the last five seconds of the game.
On Saturday, the Wellington tennis team competed in the Tournament of Champions in Wichita. This tournament boasts 16 teams - including Kansas City and Missouri teams.
The Wellington girls golf team competed in the Buhler invitational, hosted in Hesston. The tournament saw competition from 18 teams with 107 golfers. The Lady Dukes had two top 10 finishes and brought home a 2nd Place finish as a team with every Lady Crusader finishing in the top 65.
After both Wellington boy’s and girl’s cross-country teams won the Oxford Invitational last Thursday, they made an early trip to Stillwater, OK on Saturday morning to compete in the Cowboy Jamboree.

Wellington traveled to Goddard with some decent results. For the 4th straight meet the Wellington team finished in the top 2 overall, winning their first two tournaments, and then finishing 2nd in two 8 team invitationals.
