
Freshman Leads Women’s Golf to 4th Tournament Win
The Lady Crusaders women’s golf team won their fourth tournament of the season. They placed first at the Circle Invitational winning by 19 shots and placing four golfers in the top five.

Wellington played in their third volleyball tournament of the season at the Red and Blue Classic in Cheney, Kansas. The Crusaders placed fifth overall at the tournament, with Freshman Kylan Gregory named to the all tournament team.
After a tough loss to Collegiate in week three, Wellington beat Labette County 52-34 in Altamont, Kansas. Senior running back and linebacker Malachi Rogers led his team with an impressive four first half touchdowns against Labette.

The Wellington High School football team was unable to generate any offense in the first half against Wichita Collegiate and the Crusaders lost to Collegiate 48-14 in week three. “Well we had a pretty rough first half honestly,” said WHS Head Coach Jeremiah Meeks.
