Lady Crusaders Have A Hit Fest

The Wellington softball team had their best week in years in what could be a program defining performance for second year head coach Hannah Lawlis. The Lady Dukes started the season 0-6 but have four straight wins including scoring 48 runs in two games against Belle Plaine.

Track Athletes Prepare

The Wellington Track and Field Team begins competition on Friday after a historic 2024 season that sent a school record 24 athletes to the State meet.The girls team is coming off a Regional Championship and a 3rd Place finish in the AVCTL League Championships. Kylan Gregory and Natalie Burnett won League Championships in high jump and shot put.

The Great Eight!

The Wellington girl's wrestling team made school history last weekend at Regionals in McPherson, send - ing eight grapplers to the KSHSAA 4A State wrestling tournament and finishing fifth as a team. Four of the eight Lady Crusaders finished fourth or higher in their weight class. The top eight in each weight class qualified for the State tournament.
