Water Production Maintenance Update

By Jason Newberry, Assistant City Manager for Utilities and Information Technology Beginning this week and continuing through August 23rd, the City of Wellington Water Production Department will be conducting a free chlorine burnout of the water distribution system. This process entails temporarily switching from chloramines to free chlorine to optimize the water quality of the distribution system.

Brylee Johnson, is a senior at WHS and in her second year as a lifeguard at the Wellington Family Aquatic Center. She decided to become a lifeguard because she had friends who worked as lifeguards and she thought it would be a fun summer job.
