Tarnished Tulip Closes

Owners of The Tarnished Tulip, Kelly and Larry Ford, closed their store in Mayfield by hosting a final “Junk In The Trunk Flea Market” last Saturday. The store was open for 5 years and featured gifts and home décor.

Notice of NRP Public Hearing

Resurfacing of US-160

The resurfacing of US160 west of Wellington is currently underway which includes milling the existing surface and applying a hotmixasphalt overlay. Covering a stretch of 21.5 miles, the initiative spans from the Wellington city limits to the Harper/Sumner county line. To accommodate the ongoing work, traffic flow has been adjusted to a single lane, managed by flaggers and a pilot car. Residents are advised to reduce speed and anticipate delays of up to 15 minutes.
