Rahlee Colwell, is a sen- job. Her favorite part is ior at South Haven High School and in her third year as a lifeguard at the Wellington Family Aquatic Center. She decided to become a lifeguard because her Aunt Jami encouraged her to try the experience for a good, fun summer working with some of her best friends and “making memories”.. Downtown Art Exhibit

Paintings, drawings, photographs and sculptures lined the walls of the Community Room in the Wellington Public Library as part of the Kansas Wheat Festival Downtown Art Exhibit. To open the show, an exclusive preview was held for Chamber members, artists and their families on Tuesday, July 9th.

Perplexing Puzzle Winners

The Perplexing Puzzle contest, hosted by the Cowley College Golden Tigers on the Sumner Campus, saw sixteen teams of 3 to 6 members compete for the title of top puzzlers! The challenge? A 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle with a County Fair theme, which aptly included tractors, tents and a Ferris wheel. The 1st Place winners, team “Lovely Ladies,” finished their puzzle in an astonishing 1 hour and 57 minutes.
