Community Resource Fair Next Week

The Wellington Public Library and the Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce/CVB have teamed up to host a Community Resource Fair next Thursday, March28 th at Memorial Auditorium from4-6 pm. Residents will have the opportunity to connect with individuals that can answer questions and provide assistance on a number of different programs including those related to healthcare ,employment, food and utility assistance, and pet resources.

Hello there! Any idea what these mallard ducks are all about? This design is one of the most notable vintage TV lamps! Before televisions of today, an indirect source of light was needed to help soothe the eyes while watching TV. Early televisions required viewers to sit much closer, so a bit of ambient light was welcome.

Join us in celebrating the remarkable life of Wellington resident Wanda Spainhour on March 6th as she turns 101! Wanda, an avid golfer, was still hitting the course into her early 90s and even achieved a hole in one! Currently residing at Wellington Health and Rehab, she enjoys having her makeup done, playing bingo, exploring genealogy, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs. She is also a total history buff! Help this dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother celebrate this birthday milestone! .

2 tablespoons olive oil 2 chicken breasts, cubed 1 package Fideo, 7.5 oz 1 can diced tomatoes with green chilies, 10 oz 1 can regular diced tomatoes, 14.5 oz 1 can of tomato sauce, 8 oz 3 cubes chicken bouillon 1 bottle of water, 8 oz 2 teaspoons ground cumin 2 teaspoons granulated garlic 2 teaspoons granulated onion Salt & black pepper In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, add to the skillet and cook until soft.
