CTE Scholars

The Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) announced that six WHS seniors have been named 2023 Kansas Career and Technical Education (CTE) Scholars. Those students include: Chloe Hibbs, agriculture Shianna Hughes, agriculture Skylar Koehn, agriculture Jensen Lynnes, health and biosciences Cole McCorkle, agriculture Emma Stover, agriculture The Kansas CTE Scholars program began recognizing top CTE senior students throughout the state in 2017.

Grandma’s Country Cornbread 2 cups yellow cornmeal ¼ cup packed light brown sugar ½ teaspoon of baking soda 1 cup flour 1 tablespoon of baking powder 1½ cup buttermilk ¼ cup butter, melted 2 eggs 1 onion, chopped Grease 13 X 9 pan. Combine the first five ingredients in a large bowl.
