Major Robert Eugene “Bob” Happy, 86, passed away September 27, 2024. A viewing will be held from 6-8pm on October 3rd, at the First Baptist Church, 612 N. Linden St. in Belle Plaine. His service will be conducted at 2pm on Friday, October 4th, at the First Baptist Church.

Doyle Wesley Utt, 96, passed away on September 21, 2024. A graveside service will be held at the Belle Plaine Cemetery on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 2pm.

Jeffrey Leis, 64, passed away on September 24, 2024.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, October 1st at Cornejo Funeral Home.

Rosie Smith, born Laura Rose Keithline, 88, passed away on September 22, 2024. Visitation will be held at Cornejo Funeral Home, 1- 5pm, Friday, October 4. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 7pm at St. Anthony St. Rose Catholic Church. Funeral Mass is at 10am, Saturday, October 5 at St. Anthony St. Rose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Prairie Lawn Cemetery.

Irene Ann Bauler, 85, passed away on September 24, 2024. Recitation of the Holy Rosary and Funeral Mass were held on Monday, September 30th. Interment followed at Sumner Memorial Gardens.

W. Lee Roper, 93, passed away on September 22, 2024. Funeral Services will take place at 2pm, October 5th, at Rocky Mount Church in Jemison, AL.
