WELLINGTON – Janet Louise Lowry, of Wellington, Kansas, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at her home in Wellington, Kansas at the age of 62.

Janet was born the daughter of Warren and Loraine (Tennant) Conner on December 11, 1958 in Fairmont, West Virginia.

On July 14, 1981, Janet and Richard (Rick) Lowry were united in marriage. Together they celebrated 40 years of marriage.

Janet was a Christian woman who loved the Lord and spent time in her bible. She always enjoyed her family time, especially with her three children. Janet had a passion for helping others so she became a CNA where she could put her passion to use. She also loved taking a ride through Donut Bay and Woods Park whenever Rick was driving with her around town.

Survivors include her husband, Richard Lowry of Wellington, Kansas; son, Jason Lowry of Wellington, Kansas; son, Isaac Lowry and fiancé Mariyah of Winfield, Kansas; granddaughter, Cassandra Lowry of Winfield, Kansas; brother, Robert Conner of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Carolyn Slama of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Carla Holden of Wichita, Kansas; and sister, Georgetta Warden of Wellington, Kansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Michael Conner, and daughter, Cassie Harborson.

A memorial service for Janet will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, December 13, 2021 in the chapel of Cornejo Funeral Home + Crematory, Wellington, Kansas.
