He was born in Renfrow, Oklahoma at home on April 18th 1932. After graduation, in Caldwell, he went to serve in the Army during the Korean War, where was stationed in Alaska. He came home and went to work for the Rock Island Railroad. He Married Edna June Hibbs in 1955. To this marriage they had 3 children, Bryan A., Gary E. & Tamara R. He went to work for Welco in Wellington before leaving to buy and run the cab company there for about two years before returning to Welco where he worked until he retired. After retirement from Welco he worked for several more years at a few different places; always finding some way to keep busy. After being diagnosed with cancer, he spent a short time a care facility before passing. He will be greatly missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his father Ben Williams, mother Viola Pearl (Covey)(Williams)Benge, brother Leon Williams, step-father Houston Benge, mother-in-law Opal Wood, father-in-law Joe Wood, father-in-law Arvil Hibbs and one grandson James Lee Gould.
He is survived by his wife Edna June Williams, sons, Bryan Williams of Wellington,, Gary Williams and wife Linda of Lackawanna, NY, Daughter Tamara Philippi and husband Gene of Wellington, grandchildren Chrystal and Cassandra, Eric Gould Jr. and wife EdnaRae, Randy Gould, Joseph (Joe) Gould, - 14 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and expecting another, also his cousin Lenita Reeser of Enid, OK. and his dear friend/daughter Connie Lynne Cooper.
