The Crusaders from Buhler came to pay a visit to the Wellington Crusaders last Tuesday afternoon. For the boys’ teams, it would be a sweep, losing all three to Buhler.
The c-team boys fought hard early in the game, but could not keep up with the boys from Buhler. The final score was Buhler 51, Wellington 32.

It was another tough game for the junior varsity boys. Wellington put a lot of points on the board, but it was just not enough against the onslaught of the Buhler express. The final score was Buhler 65, Wellington 35.

The Buhler varsity boys played hard and fast out on the court, with one of their tallest players in center position. Facing this, the Wellington boys did all they could to give the Buhler boys a run for their money. It just was not enough. Despite a close first half, the Buhler boys pulled away and sealed the fate of the Wellington in the end. Buhler would win this one 45 to Wellington 26.

Wellington had it much better when the junior varsity gave Buhler a real fight out on the court. For a moment, it seemed Wellington might be able to pull out a victory, but in the end Buhler girls still managed to win over Wellington 57-51.

The Wellington varsity girls had their moment to shine Tuesday night delivering a terrific win over the Buhler girls. Despite the other losses Wellington suffered that night, this win was a decisive one, winning over Buhler 52-36.
