Pat (Neises) Black, 78, of Derby, died Friday, August 10, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Pat was born the daughter of John and Ernestine (Schwenker) Neises on Saturday, March 9, 1940 in Wichita. Her parents preceded her in death. She completed cosmetology school and was employed for several years as a cosmetologist. Although she eventually stopped working in a shop, Pat provided her services to her family for many years. She later began her career in the printing industry as a printer at the Derby Daily Reporter. Pat later relocated and was manager of a print shop for several years and retired in 1990.  On May 6, 2000, Pat and David Black were united in marriage at their home in Derby. Together they recently celebrated 18 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband, David Black of Derby; son, Brian Ross of Junction City; daughter, Sandara Beaman and her husband Randy of Haysville, grandchildren: Brian J. Ross and his wife Amanda of Wichita, Alysia Torres of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Alex Beaman of Haysville, Zach Beaman of Haysville, and a great-granddaughter, Amori Torres of Colorado Springs.   Memorial services for Pat will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 18,in the chapel of Cornejo|Day Funeral Home, Wellington.  A memorial fund has been established in her loving memory to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association .
