The Wellington Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 2018 Homecoming and Fall Festival event, September 20th thru 22nd.  The Homecoming Parade, managed by the Wellington High School, begins at 6pm on Thursday the 20th and the route will start at 3rd and Washington Ave and head north to 8th street, ending just in front of Memorial Auditorium; the Homecoming game is scheduled for Friday the 21st at 7pm against Augusta; and the Fall Festival is Saturday the 22nd from 9am to 3pm.  Fall Festival events will be located outside of the Memorial Auditorium at Heritage Park and Washington Avenue between 7th & 8th street throughout the day: Arts and Crafts Fair will be 9a-3p.  Contact the Chamber for booth information.  Royal Game Theater, a mobile video game truck, will be at Antlers Lot from 10a-2p (Courtesy of Cowley College).    Free! The 29th Annual Chili Cook-off will be in Heritage Park and tasting kits to determine the People's Choice winner will be sold starting at noon.  Contact the Chamber for competition information.   Brother Jukebox will play live on stage at Heritage Park from 11a-1p.  Free! Pumpkin Decorating event will be 11a-1p at 7th & Washington (courtesy of Mill Creek Lumber).  Free! D&L Train Lines kiddie train will be at 7th & Washington from 10a-1p.  Free!
