Mildred E. "Beth" Reimer, 84, formerly of Wellington, died Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Kindred Home in Yuma, Arizona.
Beth was born the third daughter of Charles and Josephine (Tredway) Thresher on Sunday, July 8, 1934 in Jetmore, Kansas. On June 14, 1953, Beth and Donald L. Reimer were united in marriage in Hillsboro. Together they celebrated 65 years of marriage. The Reimers made their home in Wellington, for many years. She was involved in many activities but loved being a Troop Leader with the Girl Scouts. Beth was the owner of The Sewing Box Fabric Store and was an avid quilter. She was the chairman of the Yuma Chapter of the Arizona Quilters Guild. Beth and her husband enjoyed traveling and their time spent in Arizona as her health declined. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Dodge, Iowa; Margaret Botek (Dean) of Stanton, Michigan; Elizabeth Zahl (Orjan) of Chandler, Arizona; Grandchildren: Timothy Henry (Samantha), Bethany Martin (Don), Jason Hartman (Jessica), Kasey Hartman, April Frazee, Eric Frazee (Lauren), Jennifer Preston (Rick), Stephanie Wallace, Miranda Parson, Jennifer McMillan (Chad), Jamie Kephart (Scott), Justin Grace (Tina), Adam Hartley, Heather Petit (Justin), Tyson Patrick (Rachel), Heath Patrick (Ashton), Annika Perry (Jacob), Shelby Botek, Shauna Botek, Samantha Conklin, Sara Conklin, Rebecca Zahl, Espen Zahl; Great Grandchildren: Owen Henry, Mason Dumler, Shelby Dumler, Kori Klinginsmith, Charli Frazee, Austin Kostedt, Sarah Preston, Luke Preston, Hunter Preston, Robert Watkins, Alex Watkins, Jackson Wallace, Mikayla Wallace, Cody Parson (Arcadia), Tia Parson, Sidnee McMillan, Zachary McMillan, Aislin McDonald, Abe Kephart, Kash Grace, Colson Grace, Jerimiah Petit, Nathaniel Patrick, Nora Patrick, Everett Patrick and Leo Conklin. And her sister, Carol Nix.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Grace Davis and brother, Charles Thresher.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 8, 2018 with the family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Funeral services for Beth will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2018 in the chapel of Cornejo|Day Funeral Home, Wellington, Kansas. Graveside services will follow lunch and begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, Winfield.
A memorial fund has been established in her loving memory to the Girls Scouts of America. Contributions may be mailed or left with the funeral home.
