RCB Bank broke ground on its new full-service banking facility in Wellington, located at 1902 E. 16th Street, between Walmart and McDonalds on Tuesday, October 16.

“We’re thrilled to expand our presence in Wellington,” said Larry Hoover, RCB Bank Tri-Community Market President, Vice President Loan Officer. “Wellington is a growing community, and we are excited to continue bringing our exceptional customer service and hometown, friendly atmosphere to the area. We look forward to providing a beautiful facility that will enhance the entrance to the community and convenience to our customers.”

Harman Huffman Construction is set to begin production this week on the new almost 4,000 square foot banking center. The facility will include two interior teller windows, five offices and three drive-thru lanes. The branch will also have safety deposit boxes. The new facility will open to the public late in the second quarter of 2019 weather permitting.

RCB Bank is bringing a new service to the area - RCB instaBank, a 24/7/365 self-serve banking center that handles most transaction needs. Customers will have the flexibility and convenience to bank on their own schedule. They can quickly access cash, deposit funds, transfer money between RCB Bank accounts and even make loan payments at any time of the day.

Customers have access to the RCB instaBank after hours by way of a secure front entrance accessible with an RCB Bank debit card. Plus, real RCB bankers are available to assist through live video chat during select hours.

The instaBank is a service for the whole community. Non-customers can use the machine during regular business hours as an additional ATM and RCB Bank check cashing option.

“The new building is going to be amazing not only from the outside, but also on the inside with the excellent RCB Bank team we have here,” said Hoover. “RCB Bank is a hometown bank and we try to embody that in everything we do,” said Hoover. “Loan decisions are made locally, and we try to do business with our customers and local companies as often as we can. The hometown, community bank approach is how we’ve been able to succeed and that’s really what makes us special.”
