Mixed Martial Arts Event at the Memorial Auditorium on January 26th!
Conquest Promotions owner Matt Ludwick grew up in Wellington during the 1980s while his father, Dr. Harvey Ludwick was the superintendent of schools.
“I have many fond memories of Wellington, and I pray that we can work with the community to allow this event to take place.”
On Saturday January 26th, Conquest Promotions will promote MMA action in Wellington, Kansas at the Memorial Auditorium. The event will draw over 600 spectators and feature an amateur bout card. This event, “Winter Warfare in Wellington” will attract spectators from Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, Texas and Nebraska with an additional fan base for particular fighters from other states.
“We believe that there will be a large draw of spectators for this event.” Ludwick said that there will be opportunities for businesses to sell tickets. Athletes will sell tickets and there will be a lot of “local” athletes” on the card. Local as in Wichita, Winfield and Ark City.
As for the businesses in Wellington, promotional activities will include contacting businesses throughout the entire central and south central area of Kansas, and Northern Oklahoma. Sponsors will be exposed locally, radio and to Tuff Talk TV, a live streaming company that regulates our live streaming of MMA action throughout the globe!
“Sponsors are needed to assist us with the cost of the show”. If there are any sponsors interested in supporting the show, we would like to be included on their new advertising budget for the New Year.”
Conquest Promotions staff will advertise the event in November and will continue promoting the event until the day of the event. “Winter Warfare in Wellington” sponsors will be exposed on a consistent basis on posters, billboards, social media and many other marketing tools. Conquest Promotions personnel will strive to meet with interested parties and assist with the display of logos and similar advertisement in relation to the event.
