Cowley College’s Humanities and Communication department will host a Student Showcase for the Creative Writing and Mass Communication programs in the Earle N. Wright Community Room on Thursday, December 6 at 6:30 p.m.

Students will showcase writing portfolios and photography, as well as other work done by Cowley students this semester. Marlys Cervantes, Creative Writing Program Director, and Meg Smith, Director of Mass Communications, invite individuals to attend the reception and Student Showcase.

“This is a perfect time to see the talents of our students, as well as find out more about Cowley programs that deal with writing, the arts, and communication,” Cervantes said. “We hope to have a big turnout from the surrounding community.”

Along with the writing portfolios, there will also be student videos shown from individuals in the audio/video production class, while digital photography students will have eight to 10 pieces of work on display.

There is no cost to attend the Student Showcase and reception.
