Kenny Fehrman has been on a roll as of late.  He recently placed third in the Class 4A State Wrestling Tournament in Salina.  According to Kenny, he also “broke the season pin record at Wellington High School.  It was 24; I got 25 this season.  It felt very good.  It’s awesome breaking a record as a sophomore, and I’m hoping to break the career pin record also.”
Kenny is working hard, training and working out in the weight room to attain those goals.  “It’s a big factor in my sports success this year; also my family’s and coach’s support, as well as my fellow team mates.  I wouldn’t be where I am without all those amazing people in my life supporting me.”
Considering he is only a sixteen year old sophomore, he still has plenty he wants to do yet as a Crusader.  “I definitely want to get some state titles as a wrestler which is very attainable I also want to be apart of another awesome football team.”
There is no doubt Kenny, in his next two years as a Crusader, will continue to leave his mark in the halls of fame at Wellington High School.
