The holiday spirit is in full swing, and there’s no need to travel far to find the perfect gift! Downtown Wellington will come alive in the coming weeks with Sip & Shop events, where shoppers can enjoy festive refreshments, friendly faces, and one-of-a-kind finds while supporting our local small businesses.
10 a.m. – 2 p.m., November 8Visit the National Depression Glass Museum and enjoy light refreshments while you browse sales throughout the museum. Staff will also be offering fun “Grab Bags” containing mystery glass items. Crystal pieces will be available for just $2.
10 a.m. – 2 p.m., November 15Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served at Trouvaille Hair & Skin, which will also host several guest vendors including Wendy’s Wreaths, Soul of the Lotus, Gwen Ast – Quilted Goods, and Erin’s Dark Concoctions.
Other participating local businesses include Salty Creek Decor, Boom Stix and Freedom Seeds, The Gold Corner, Muffin Top Bakery, Bee Creative Toys & Quilt Shop, Powder & Strings Outfitters, Hometown Rental, Currency Corner, No. 7 Coffeehouse, Frazer’s Clothing, and Personal Threads.
Each of these locations will feature a prize drawing.
2 – 4 p.m., November 15Annie Oakley’s, Then & Now Mercantile, and This-N-That Emporium will offer shoppers a festive atmosphere with complimentary beverages. Each location will be filled with unique gifts and seasonal décor.
