Marvin L. Teague entered into Heaven with his family by his side on Friday, June 12, 2020 in Wellington, Kansas at the age of 71. He was born the son of Marvin J. and Nellie A. (Kern) Teague on May 21, 1949 in Wellington, Kansas.

Marvin graduated from Caldwell High School and later joined the US Navy. He served during the Vietnam War and received the Purple Heart Medal. Marvin and Kathy Kabureck were united in marriage on June 27, 1970 in Wellington, Kansas. Together the celebrated nearly 50 years of marriage. Marvin and Kathy made their home and raised their family in Wellington, Kansas. He retired from the Kansas Turnpike Authority where he was employed as a teller and made many friends over the years. Marvin loved everything Elvis and would sing his songs, dance his moves, watch his movies and even grew his sideburns. More than that, he loved his family and was especially proud of his grandchildren. Marvin's love and friendship will be missed by all that knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Teague of Wellington, Kansas; son, Daniel Teague and his wife Michelle of Wellington, Kansas; daughter, Shannon Prickett of Wellington, Kansas; son, David Teague and his wife Anna of Stillwater, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Carlene Smith of Herrington, Kansas and a large extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; nephew, Lyndell Smith and brother-in-law, J.E. Smith.

Memorial services for Marvin will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at the Wellington Freewill Baptist Church, Wellington, Kansas. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Wellington, Kansas.

Memorials have been established in his name and loving memory to the Avenue of Flags or the Lupus Foundation of America. Contributions can be mailed or left with the funeral home.
