Terry Ward

Wellington - Terry Ward passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at his home in Wellington, Kansas at the age of 78. He was born the son of Jack and Eileen (Lebeda) Ward on September 10, 1943 in Caldwell, Kansas. Terry graduated from Caldwell High School and shortly after graduation joined the United States Army. He was deployed to Korea and it was there where he met future wife. On February 8, 1965, he and Suk Cha Pak were united in marriage in Inchon, Korea. The couple briefly lived in Caldwell, Kansas but made their home in Wellington, Kansas. Terry was employed as a machinist for Welco and retired following a 33 year career. His free time was spent learning about and purchasing antique collectibles from auctions. Terry has a large collection of antique pocket watches, clocks, coins and many other things that interested him.

Survivors include his wife, Suk Cha Ward of Wellington, Kansas; daughter, Ares Zoglman and husband Clarence of Salina, Kansas; granddaughter, Emily Zoglman of Overland Park, Kansas; granddaughter, Marie Wilson of Wichita, Kansas, grandsons: Kedrick, Kendon and Cade; brother, Monty Ward and wife Deidra of Argonia, Kansas; brother, Jody Ward and wife Janie of Benton, Kansas; brother, Jay Ward of Colorado; sister, Diana Wentzel of Wichita, Kansas; sister-in-law, Nina Ward along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Liana Ward and brother, Carson Ward.

A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2021 with the family present to receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 28, 2021 in the chapel of Cornejo Funeral Home, Wellington, Kansas. A private interment will follow at the Goodel Cemetery in Drury, Kansas.
