Betty L. Cox, formerly of Winfield, KS, passed away Sunday morning, September 20, 2020 at Wellington Health and Rehab in Wellington, KS at the age of 83.
She was born the daughter of William B. and Mary Frances (Hain) White on May 4, 1937 in Waldron, KS. Betty was a retired nursing home medical records administrator.
Survivors include her daughter, Crystal Sawyer (Ernie) of Canon City, CO; sister, Beverly Pickens of Wellington, KS; sister, Barbara Botkin (Daryl) of Wellington, KS; sister, Brenda Nelson (Lee) of Wellington, KS, grandchildren: Tonya Clark of Arkansas City, KS, Cyndee Holman of Canon City, CO, Nathan Clark of Arkansas City, KS, Tim Logue of Geuda Springs, KS and Grant Logue of Ogallah, KS, great-grandchildren: Damien May, Aaliyah May, Ariana Logue, Michaella Robinson, Caleb Logue, Caden Logue, Colben Logue, Alyssa Logue, Kaley Logue, Akira Holman, Alex Holman and Athina Clark along with other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Lou Logue; mother, Mary Waetzig and father William Bruce White.
Following cremation, there are no public services planned.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established with the Wellington Humane Society, PO Box 494, Wellington, KS 67152.
