This month, the Sumner County Economic Development Commission (SCEDC) launched a new community pride campaign called #ProudtobeSumner. Residents can expect to see the initiative featured across SCEDC’s social media platforms, at local events, and in upcoming communications.
“This campaign is all about celebrating what makes Sumner special—our people, our stories, and our shared commitment to making this community a place we’re proud to call home,” said Stacy Davis, SCEDC Director.
The organization invites community members to participate by sharing their own stories and photos using the hashtag #ProudtobeSumner. Whether it’s a simple act of kindness, a local success story, or the everyday beauty of small-town life, the campaign aims to highlight the moments that make Sumner County shine.
From affordable housing and strong schools to safe neighborhoods and hometown charm, Sumner County offers many qualities that contribute to a high quality of life. As the region grows with new industries and job opportunities, SCEDC encourages residents, business owners, and community leaders to share what makes them proud to call Sumner home.
Post a photo, tell a story, spotlight a favorite business, or give a shoutout to someone who’s making a difference—then tag the Sumner County Economic Development Commission on Facebook.
“Your voice is part of what makes this community strong,” Davis added. “Let’s spread positivity and pride, one story at a time.”
