Wellington releases the fourth clue in the Kansas Wheat Festival Medallion Hunt

The Medallion Hunt in Wellington has been going on since Monday and the fourth clue has been revealed. The clue is "Two from the town of bribes.."

Monday's clue was "Cheers to the 150 for Wellington, 121 for the Wheat Festival, and 35 for the Medallion Hunt!," Tuesday's clue was "Wellington, where it all began," and Wednesday was "Pool your resources.

There will be a new clue issued each weekday by 10 a.m. through Friday, July 9 on the Sumner News Cow website and the Wellington Chamber of Commerce.

There is an early bird clue that's obtainable between 6:30 and 7 a.m. on the Sumner News Cow website or on the digital sign of Panhandle Federal Credit Union.

Everyone is eligible to participate in the Wheat Festival Medallion Hunt except for the 2020 winner. There will be a prize for the person that finds the medallion, but the person who claims the prize must be 18 years old or older.

If participants purchased a Wheat Festival button, the finder of the medallion can claim $1,000. If the participant didn't purchase a button, then the finder will receive $100.
