Kansas City Chiefs return specialist Dante Hall is coming to Wellington for youth football

Legendary return specialist for the Kansas City Chiefs, Dante Hall, is coming to Wellington. 

The All-Pro returner will be attending a Wellington Recreation Commission (WRC) youth football camp for 1st-6th graders on Aug. 28th from 9-11 a.m. at Sellers Park.  

Those who are interested in attending the camp can sign-up now at the WRC. There is a $50 entry fee per participant and all those who attend the camp will receive a t-shirt. 

Hall spent seven seasons with the Chiefs and holds multiple records in the organization, including; most career kick return yards (8,644), most career kick return touchdowns (6), most career punt return touchdowns (5), most career all-purpose yards (12,356) and more.

He was also included on the first-team NFL 2000's All-Decade Team (punt returner) and second teams NFL 2000's All-Decade Team (kick returner).

Hall was ranked the 10th greatest return specialist in NFL history in NFL Network's NFL Top 10 Return Aces. He was more than just a return specialist as he totaled 162 receptions. 1,747 receiving yards and nine touchdowns.

The last time Hall made an appearance in Wellington was in Nov. 2020 when nationally recognized chef and Wellington native, Mike Castaneda invited Hall to Wellington.

He appeared at the Regent Theater to watch the Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday Night Football.
