The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Sumner County. 

The thunderstorm watch is valid until 8:15 but could possibly change. Threat information includes penny-size hail and scattered gusts up to 60 mph. Heavy rainfall could possibly cause flooding.

This severe thunderstorm will be near Wellington; this includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 18 and 25.
