Local Kids Celebrate Earth Day All Week The Earth Day celebrations in Wellington commenced on Monday, April 22nd, the official day designated in 1970 to honor the Earth and raise awareness about environmental issues. Guided by Eisenhower 4thgrade teachers Millie Angleton and Vanessa Sawyer, students had the opportunity to hold the “Whole World” in their hands.
