The Wellington Public Library’s “Young Naturalist” group meets on the 1st Thursday at 10:30 a.m. and the 3rd Thursday at 4:30 p.m. each month. Explorers of all ages are welcome to join Children’s Librarian Chalishia Alvarez in exploring nature on the library lawn using magnifying glasses, flashlights, microscopes, and binoculars. The group shares their discoveries and uses reference books to gain a deeper understanding. Each meeting introduces a new topic, and the program is free of charge. Photo submitted
