Workers have completed the installation of the thermal-energy storage ceiling-tile in the Wellington Public Safety Complex, which houses the police and fire/EMS departments. The project is part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) Building Technologies Proving Ground – Public Sector Field Validation Study being conducted in six public buildings in Wellington.
